PJ Tucker described what it was like to keep Durant

Keeping Kevin Durant is an impossible thing to do. This is especially the case during the playoffs where he is more locked up than usual.

But someone has to do it. And that someone for the Milwaukee Bucks in their championship run was PJ Tucker. They traded for him, precisely, for this reason.

And, of course, Tucker didn’t really phase Durant too much during their clash. Durant still averaged 35.4 points per game in the series with fairly good efficiency.

But the thing was… Tucker made him work for those buckets. He never got discouraged.

He’s now a member of the Miami Heat, but Tucker described what it was like to keep KD on JJ Redick’s “The Old Man and the Three” podcast.

And, after hearing how he approached it, you’ll want to line up with this dude for anything.

“It’s like, okay. Oh man, that was amazing. You did that. Now start over. Now start over. Because I won’t stop. I’m not going to stop. He tells me ‘stop hacking me’ and I’m like ‘I’m not going to stop’. We came face to face. I’m not going anywhere. ”

Yoooooon. This is crazy, man. Most people are fleeing this battle which they are clearly losing. PJ Tucker kept turning on.

There were NBA fans everywhere who wanted to run through walls for Tucker.

It’s just amazing, man. What a mentality. Every NBA team should have a PJ Tucker by their side.
